Euj Osoria was raised in the sticky embrace of Florida’s heat. They spent a great deal of their young life learning to adapt quickly, growing in stride with the long days of two working class families. Euj’s journey in working with wood has been slow and meandering, starting with a course in which they designed and built a drafting table-inspired standing desk. Without access to a shop, or tools with which to continue building furniture, they turned to greenwood woodworking, carving and selling spoons. Nowadays later they craft wood items for home through Dogear Designs while also working as a program coordinator at Yestermorrow Design/Build School.
